Hello folks I have a problem with Black ops 2 not connecting to multiplayer I get a message saying "getting data from Steam" Then when I go on zombies it works fine. I can connect online playing with other people. I have reinstalled, restarted internet, port forward. And nothing is working, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
1. Does the system meet the minimun requirements as printed on the box? 2. Do you get any error message when running the game? You can try these methods to check if the issue gets resolved. Method 1: Step 1: Uninstall and Reinstall the game. Step 2: Reinstall the game in compatibility mode.
Everytime I click "Play" via Steam library a safe mode alert keeps popping up. If I select yes or no, the game will run but close 2 seconds after. The startup animation for the game doesn't even start. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game today, and it worked until I exited the game. Now I'm back to square one. I've also used the "Verify integrity of game files" option too. No luck. I have

I think has something to do with the 2.8gb updates. My zombies doesnt work too..everytime i get into the game, the screen just freezes..i've tried to change the Compatibility to Windows XP package 3, but it doesn't work.. I use Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti. My CPU is a Phenom 9650 Quad-core (8g ram).
Game launches minimized. Single player, multiplayer, and zombies all launch minimized for me, and I can't restore them. When I mouse over their window on the task bar, the window just appears black. I installed the beta nVidia drivers, ran both executables in the redist folder, verified all the game files, restarted my computer, and it's stillNot for black ops 2. But having forwarded ports on your router, prevents Black Ops 2 from connecting to steam. That's the issue, which also doesn't make any sense. The opened ports have nothing do with steam, though the ports are often used by previous versions of COD. But it still shouldn't disrupt the connection. Alright I still have this problem. The only matches that work are hardcore, deleting it and reinstalling and all that does not fix it. You can fully play if a friend searches for the game. However my NAT type is open and it still doesn't work. I dislike paying 60 dollars for an offline game so i'd like a solution
Buried. Buried, also known as Resolution 1295, is the new Zombies Map featured in the Vengeance Map Pack. It's an old west-looking town that has been buried underground. It is one of the first.
